How does it work?
Sara communicates with the alarm receiving centre via the CPC, TTNEW or BS8521 protocol. Compatible with all the latest monitoring platforms including Tunstall, Jontek, Verklizan (UMO) and Chubb, Sara offers complete freedom when upgrading to a new platform.
High quality speech combined with synthesized speech messages ensures effective alarm communication, enabling a quick and appropriate response. The operator can use either duplex or simplex communication, and simple configuration software. Mains supply and phone line are monitored and an alert is sent in case of failure.
What problem does it solve?
A social alarm provides valuable support and reassurance for a wide range of people of any age, including those who live alone and are at risk of falling, live with dementia, epilepsy or heart disease, or have some disability or long-term condition. Also for anyone who has recently returned from hospital or has a short-term conditiion and feels vulnerable or worries about safety or security.
