It is always online and constantly monitored via a ‘heartbeat’ transmitted every two minutes. If connection is lost, notification is automatically sent. Fitted with a low-cost roaming SIM card, this carephone is ideal in cases where the client has no phone line.
It comes with one Enzo radio trigger, is supported by i-care® online and works with a wide range of Telecare radio triggers, fall detectors, bed sensors, door alarms, etc. to meet individual needs.

How does it work?
CareMobile is an IP/GSM only device that is always online and constantly monitored. If connection is lost, notification is automatically sent to ensure the service user will always be able to raise an alarm call. Alarms are transmitted to the alarm receiving centre via the GSM/GPRS network using either SCAIP or UMO-XML alarm protocols. (CENELEC TS 50134-9:2018 protocol available soon.)
CareMobile is supported by i-care® online, a web portal that provides an easy-to-use overview of all digital carephones deployed by the provider. It also provides the ability to silently reprogram, check signal strength or even program an alarm trigger remotely.
What problem does it solve?
With rising costs for fixed telephone lines and more people using mobile phones has led to more homes without a traditional telephone connection (PSTN). CareMobile enables the installation of a carephone where no fixed line is present by incorporating a low cost roaming SIM card (not tied to any network provider).
Digital telecare has enormous potential for the future of social alarms and healthcare. This IP/GSM solution is designed to integrate with new digital infrastructures and offers reliability, efficiency and quality.
