How does it work?

Abby is an excellent solution for bringing greater peace of mind to both the user and family & friends. GPS, Wi-Fi and beacon positioning all cooperate to provide not only the user's location, but also advanced tracking and geofencing functionality that incorporates energy-saving technology for achieving long battery time.

The user can activate an alarm by pressing the alarm button if in need of help or feeling distressed. Abby also features automatically triggered alarms, e.g due to a fall or when the user leaves a predefined zone (geofence). Multiple geofences can be programmed, and alerts can be sent to a number of recipients or to the monitoring centre.

Not only does Abby work as a out-and-about telecare device, but it can also be connected to an alarm trigger, such as Enzo, as well as to other telecare accessories like smoke- and heat detectors. The option to connect a trigger to Abby can be very helpful since most users will not use their Abby at night, choosing instead to wear their alarm trigger.

Abby is compatible with i-care® plus, an app that allows family & friends to be involved in the care of their senior. With the app, they can handle alarm calls, see Abby's location on a map, talk to the user via the device's speakerphone, and more.

What problem does it solve?
